British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has mentioned he’ll convene a gathering of leaders from the Group of Seven nations on Tuesday for “pressing talks on the state of affairs in Afghanistan.”
Johnson revealed the plan in an announcement posted on Twitter.
He says it’s “important that the worldwide group works collectively to make sure protected evacuations, forestall a humanitarian disaster and assist the Afghan folks to safe the positive factors of the final 20 years.”
The U.Okay. holds this 12 months’s presidency of the G7 nations, which can be made up of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the USA.
