Patna: A groom in Bihar left for the marriage sitting on the shoulders of a villager as the trail resulting in the principle street was stuffed with mud following heavy rains.

Sidu Kumar, a resident of Puraina village in Buxur district, was enthusiastic about his marriage however his pleasure vanished after sudden rains on the eve of marriage ceremony left his village flooded.

With the one dust street resulting in the principle street was stuffed with mud and soiled water, the groom had no alternative however to sit down on the shoulders of a villager to board a ready automotive close to the principle street, some 3km away.
