An 18-year-old Albany lady has been charged with aggravated theft after allegedly assaulting a 14-year-old woman within the carpark of Coles in Orana.
Police allege the lady bought out of a Holden Captiva about 1.30pm on Sunday and approached the 14-year-old who was strolling within the carpark with a good friend.
A police spokeswoman stated the lady demanded the woman hand over two silver necklaces she was carrying.
“When the sufferer declined the 18-year-old lady assaulted the sufferer and verbally threatened her,” the spokeswoman stated.
“The 14-year-old was handled on the Albany Well being Campus for minor accidents together with bruising to her physique.”
The 18-year-old from Bayonet Head is because of face Geraldton Justice of the Peace’s Courtroom on Might 6.
