The twitter spat shortly escalated, as Tibi tweeted a screenshot of a Whatsapp message he obtained which known as to kill and deport Arabs from Israel, saying that he had been “flooded” with comparable threats since Smotrich’s tweet.
MK Ofer Cassif responded to the incident in a tweet as effectively, writing that “Israeli society is split into switch supporters and opponents of switch.”
