Former Queensland authorities minister Trevor John Perrett – father of a sitting MP – is ready to battle historic costs he indecently handled a teenage woman.
Perrett didn’t seem as his case was talked about in Brisbane Magistrates Courtroom on Wednesday on a complete of 25 costs.
Attorneys for Perrett stated the previous minister indicated he would contest the fees.
Perrett, 79, was the first industries, fisheries and forestry minister within the Borbidge authorities between 1996 and 1998.
He represented the previous South Burnett-based citizens of Barambah for the Nationwide Celebration between 1988 and 1998.
He lives in Petrie within the Moreton Bay area, north of Brisbane, the courtroom heard.
His son Tony Perrett is a sitting opposition MP in state parliament, representing the citizens of Gympie for the Liberal Nationwide Celebration.
