A person arrested over the assault of two safety guards at a Wellington music pageant can be being investigated in reference to assaults on a number of ladies.

The police say the person was arrested through the Peachy Eager pageant on the Basin Reserve on Saturday, and can be charged with two counts of widespread assault.
Witnesses had earlier reported seeing a person assault a number of ladies in separate incidents.
Nonetheless, the ladies couldn’t be situated within the crowd, and the police are asking for anybody who might have info to contact them.
