Militants assault two Somali military bases

Al-Shabaab militants have attacked two army bases belonging to the Somali Nationwide Military, witnesses and the militants say.

Al-Shabaab, which is linked to al-Qaeda, is made up of Islamist militants who’ve waged years of assaults and levied tolls on commerce in a marketing campaign to introduce strict non secular regulation.

There was no rapid official remark or particulars on casualties however one army officer within the military confirmed the assaults, which occurred early on Saturday morning.
