The title of the lady who died after falling from a constitution boat on Auckland’s Waitematā Harbour on Thursday has been launched.
She was 25-year-old Danielle Tamarua of Auckland, who was a visitor on the boat.
One other one that jumped into the water to try to save her was not injured.
The boat was a chartered vessel that left the Viaduct, carrying about 30 passengers.
Police and Maritime New Zealand have launched an investigation into the circumstances resulting in Tamarua’s demise.
A scene examination can be happening.
