A hospital nurse has been injured by a stray bullet as a townhouse was shot at in western Sydney in a suspected crime-gang associated assault.

Police mentioned the nurse suffered a minor harm to her leg after the bullet went by means of a window on the rear of Auburn Hospital on Monday night time.

Police have been known as to a townhouse advanced on Auburn Highway shortly earlier than 8pm and located bullet holes within the entrance of the constructing.

Residents inside on the time weren’t injured.

Police have been advised a minimum of two males, wearing black, have been seen getting out of a car close to the driveway of the townhouse and firing numerous rounds.

Auburn detectives together with State Crime Command’s Prison Teams Squad are conducting a full investigation into the incident.
